  • Erin

    Working with children and families is Erin’s passion and has been the focus of her career. Erin is a graduate of the University of Washington where she majored in English and Psychology and was a member of the women's rowing team. Erin worked at The Goddard School in Snohomish as a part of the support staff and also as a lead teacher in the Get Set classroom. Prior to becoming an owner at The Goddard School, Erin worked as a DCYF affiliated in-home counselor with youth and families throughout Snohomish County providing counseling, parenting education and case management support. Erin and Lissa have long shared a vision of owning their own preschool so the opportunity to purchase the school together in 2015 as a mother-daughter team represented a real dream come true! As a parent, Erin has experienced the profound impact of such an amazing school community for her two daughters.

  • Lissa

    Lissa was the Director of Education from the school's opening in 2008 until taking on the role of owner in August of 2015. She has a BA in Education from Seattle University with endorsements in Earth Sciences and Early Childhood Education. Working with children and their families is a lifelong passion for her. She owned and operated a preschool for 13 years before her career at The Goddard School and has over 30 years experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. Lissa also has five children, now all young adults and raising her children has been the most rewarding and amazing experience. She is thrilled to be able to utilize her experience and education to make The Goddard School of Snohomish the best experience possible for our students and our families. Sharing this experience with her daughter has been and will continue to be amazing.

  • Jacqueline

    Jacqueline started her journey at The Goddard School as a teacher in the Preschool program before transitioning to the role of Education Director. Jacqueline has worked with young children in many settings: nanny care, childcare centers, summer camps, preschools, and as an elementary school volunteer. She has her BS degree in General Social Science with a Minor in Psychology, and also has an AA in Early Childhood Education.

  • Robyn

    In 2003, Robyn graduated with honors from Florida State University with a BS in Child Development and a minor in Psychology, also earning a softball scholarship. She returned to her “roots”, having grown up and graduating from a high school in this area, and has been with The Goddard School since January of 2009. Creating a positive learning experience in a safe, fun and nurturing environment is extremely rewarding to Robyn, as well as sharing school activities, ideas and friendships with parents. Robyn is blessed with a beautiful family, Mike, Reece and Wren and her relaxation and recreation always includes them. Camping trips, hiking, barbeques with friends, as well as hanging out in her backyard, are those special times she enjoys the most.

  • Aimee

    Aimee grew up in Snohomish and began working at The Goddard School in September 2011. She graduated from Western Washington University with her Bachelor of Arts in 1996 earning a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She has worked in a variety of early childhood education settings over the past 20 years and enjoys watching young people grow and learn. When Aimee is not working at Goddard, she enjoys crafts and baking as well as camping with her family. She has a husband and three daughters.

  • Alexis

    Alexis was born and raised in Tacoma Washington and graduated from Mount Tahoma high school in 2017. Alexis has also achieved her Associates degree at Tacoma Community College in 2020. She has been teaching all ages from toddlers to school agers in Washington state at childcare centers since 2017. She has had a passion for teaching since a young age and loves to make a positive impact on every child she meets. She learned early on in life that she was passionate about making a change and connecting with children while babysitting her younger cousins and family friends’ children. She loves to spend her free time with family, painting, cooking, or gardening when weather permits. Alexis looks forward to meeting all of the families and spending time with your children here at The Goddard School.

  • Brittany

    Brittany was born in Utah where she found a passion for the outdoors. She moved to Spokane and found her passion for encouraging and inspiring children as a nanny and kindergarten classroom aid. In 2016 Brittany began attending Western Governors University working towards her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with the eventual goal of teaching elementary school. Prior to working at The Goddard School, Brittany worked in the home care industry as well as actively volunteering in a memory loss program. She found an overwhelming feeling of happiness when helping others succeed and become more independent. Children have always been her passion and she enjoys encouraging a child to grow using their imagination, creativity and curiosity through the act of play. Children inspire Brittany to keep the wonder and magic in her eyes.

  • Hayley

    Hayley has been working in education since 2011. She began her career working in Montessori programs teaching toddlers and primary students. Hayley is both a certified Montessori teacher as well as a certified yoga teacher. She loves practicing yoga, love to cook and enjoys cats, movies and music.

  • Holly

    Holly was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Seattle in 2014 where she began her career in Early Childhood Education. She has been a teacher since 2014 with experience in ages 1-4. Holly has always enjoyed working with kids, starting with babysitting and now educating. In Holly’s free time she enjoys watching hockey and spending time with family.

    Julie began working in Early Childhood Education in 2012. Julie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from St. Martin's University and completed additional coursework in Early Childhood Education. When she is not teaching she loves to hang out with her dog, family and friends and spending time at the gym. She loves scrapbooking, reading and watching true crime tv.

  • Kristen

    Kristen began working with children in 2010. She worked in the youth program for Carnival Cruise Lines from 2010-2012 before entering the field of Early Childhood Education in 2014. Kristen completed her AAS degree in Early Childhood Education from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2010. In her spare time she loves to do fun outdoor activities such as going kayaking and hiking. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

  • Rasheda

    Miss Rasheda began working in Early Childhood Education in 1996. As a teenager, she babysat and volunteered in her church's AWANA program. Miss Rasheda's first job was as a floater at a local daycare when she was 17. Since then, she has filled every role in childcare from Health and Safety Coordinator to Teacher's Assistant, and of course, Lead Teacher. In the spring of 2008, Miss Rasheda received her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Everett Community college. The best part of teaching for Miss Rasheda is what she learns from the children. She is excited to welcome you to our school and work with you in the Infant room.

  • Toey

    Toey started tutoring children in Mandarin Chinese and English in Thailand in 2015. Before moving to Seattle, Toey was a school principal/senior teacher in a Japanese brain development school for 2 and a half years serving students from 6 months old to 6 years old. In 2020, Toey was accepted into a Master's degree teaching program at the University of Washington, but deferred participation in the program due to COVID-19. Toey was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and moved to Edmonds with her wonderful husband in December 2022. Toey was an exchange student in Shenyang, China for a year and learned to speak Mandarin Chinese. Toey is an only child to her parents but definitely loves sharing, especially food! Cooking and baking are Toey’s therapeutic hobbies as well as hiking and lifting weights. Toey could have sushi every day if no one stops her and her favourite color is emerald green.

  • Ashlynn

    Ashlynn has known for a long time that her passion is children. She is currently working towards her AA degree in Early Childhood Education at Edmonds Community College. Ashlynn was born and raised in Lynnwood, WA. She enjoys playing with her dog Pico, spending time with her family and niece in her free time. Ashlynn believes that any child can be taught well. It just takes time to get to know the child and understand how they learn and what works best for each individual child.

  • Courtney

    Courtney began working with children in 2006. She earned her CDA in 2011 and her AA in Early Childhood Education in 2013. She has worked in a variety of early learning settings including The Goddard School of Redmond in 2014. Courtney's two amazing children are Goddard grads! Courtney loves spending time with her family, camping, traveling, backing, video games and taking her dog Sammy for walks.

    Eden has been working in education since 2019. Eden began working with children as a swim instructor. Prior to joining the Goddard Snohomish family, Eden worked as a Support Teacher & Pre-K Teacher at The Goddard School of Monroe. Eden has many animals, including three dogs, three cats and too many chickens and ducks.

  • Hailey

    Hailey started working with children in 2019 but also grew up with a mother who worked in the field and has always enjoyed being around families and children. Hailey studied at Central Washington University and transferred to University of Washington Bothell where she earned in Bachelor's degree in Society, Ethics and Human Behavior in 2023. Hailey loves spending time with her family and her pets and enjoys her family's weekly Sunday Carne Asada tradition. She also loves listening to music with friends and collecting all things Hello Kitty.

  • Jin

    Jin received her Early Childhood Assistant certificate from Ewings Canada Academy of Business and Technology. She had worked at University of Toronto‘s Early Learning Center before moving to Seattle. When she was in Canada, Ms. Jin also taught Mandarin in a Chinese Sunday School. Jin has worked at The Goddard School since we opened in 2008.

  • Klaire

    Ms. Klaire has been working with children since 2015, babysitting and working in the church nursery. She has been attending classes and will soon be receiving her AA degree. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. A fun fact about Klaire is that her brother Taylor worked here for 7 years before moving to Eastern Washington and still works here when he is in town.

  • Kyndall

    Kyndall worked as a Day Camp Counselor in 2018. She worked at a local Infant Toddler program in 2022 before joining us here at The Goddard School. Since Kindergarten she knew she wanted to be a teacher. She has always loved being around children and can think of no other job she would like to have. In her free time, she enjoys playing board games with friends, going on hikes, playing sports and painting.

  • Mikayla

    Mikayla has worked with children in a variety of settings since 2014, as an early childhood education teacher, camp counselor and as a nanny. Mikayla did ballet for 13 years, track and volleyball when she was a student and has two cats.

  • Sheela

    Sheela has been working as a teacher since 2018. Before joining The Goddard School, Sheela spent 4 years teaching in Bangalore, India. She earned an Excellent Teacher award for the 2018-2019 school year. Sheela earned her teaching degree from Bashavashree College, Bangalore University. Sheela loves to cook and try new recipes along with her daughter. She loves to do crafts work and enjoys hiking with her family.

  • Swetha

    Swetha began working with children as a classroom volunteer in her son’s Kindergarten class. She enjoyed working with students and was beloved by the teacher she worked with. Before moving to the US, Swetha earned her Master’s degree in India. Swetha loves to play tennis, watch movies and listen to music. She has two children.

  • Tania

    Tania began working with children in 2016. She has worked in a variety early learning settings. Tania earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in English as well as her Bachelor’s of Education. In her spare time she enjoys playing badminton and cooking new recipes. She absolutely enjoys baking. Her favorite thing is to spend time with her family.

  • Hannah

    Hannah began working at The Goddard School as a floater in 2012 when she was just a senior in high school and she has loved it from the start. After working as an Assistant Teacher in the Get Set classroom for several years, Hannah transitioned to the support teacher role when she began working as a behavior therapist. Hannah attended Edmonds Community College and completed her General Associates Degree and attended Everett Community College for their Early Childhood Education program. She plans to eventually earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and become a kindergarten teacher. She has loved working with children her whole life. She enjoys spending time with her friends, sisters, nieces and nephews. She also loves finding new books to get lost in, watching funny or scary movies, and relaxing on the beach with her friends. She is thrilled to be part of your child’s life – helping them learn, grow, and also have fun!

    Hannah has been working with children since 2011. Before joining The Goddard School Hannah worked as a home-based caregiver. Hannah enjoys doing arts and crafts and enjoys music. In her spare time she enjoys going to the driving range or spending time at the lake or river.

  • Kathleen

    Kathi served as the lead teacher in the Team Pre-K class starting when The Snohomish Goddard School opened in 2008 before stepping in the Support Teacher role in 2021. Kathi is a graduate of WWU with a BA in Childhood Education. She has worked as a substitute teacher in the Edmonds, Snohomish, and Anchorage, AK school districts, was the Director of a childcare in Alaska for 6 years, and had a small, in home preschool in Snohomish for five years. Kathi has three children and has been involved in community theater for the last seven seasons. She enjoys doing counted cross stitch and eating chocolate. She is excited to have your child in her class and hopes that he/she comes to school everyday with a feeling of excitement and leaves with a sense of accomplishment.

    Lori is originally from Long Island, NY. She started her Early Childhood Education degree at Farmingdale University and transferred to Edmonds Community College when her family moved to Seattle, WA. She completed her Child Development Associates degree and enjoys completing continuing education trainings and classes. She enjoys working with the parents, children and staff here at The Goddard School.

  • Maisy

    Maisy grew up in Washington as well as in Los Angeles, California. She attended Jackson High School in Mill Creek and from there moved on to take courses at Fullerton Community College in Fullerton, California. Her experience caring for children began at the age of 12 years old, when she was babysitting consistently for the same local families and adoring it with a passion. As she got older, she volunteered to help after school at a family friend’s small home daycare while continuing to care for children in the community. Maisy has always been very in touch with her imagination and youthful side, which allows her to form meaningful bonds with her students. Her compassion and love for her students shows and fuels her drive to continue her education in early childhood education.

  • Pamela

    Ms. Pam has been with The Goddard School since January 2009. She works as an Operations Lead which involves assisting in all classrooms as well as working in the office. Pam enjoys greeting and talking to the children and parents each day. Prior to working at The Goddard School, she was the primary care provider for a child with Down Syndrome for 6 years, worked as a teacher assistant for Bethel School District's Special Needs Preschool and has spent numerous hours as a PTA Officer and volunteer, as well helped in coaching softball for her daughters. She has also followed her passion for gardening by working at Pine Creek Nursery in Monroe.

  • Roxane

    Roxane’s interest in child development led her to a career of over 30 years working with children and earning her first degree in Early Childhood Education. Her passion in assisting the whole child led Roxane to a second degree, Social and Human Services. Her education and experience has allowed her to hold several positions in the Early Learning field: teacher program coordinator, education/disabilities coordinator, home visitor, family support coordinator and director. Roxane’s focus is having a child develop and grow in a warm and nurturing environment which allows the child to experience many aspects of life. Roxane was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her husband served in the Navy for 26 years and they have 3 children and 4 busy grandchildren. Military life gave her the opportunity to live abroad twice, but she and her family have chosen to call the beautiful PNW home.

  • Sharynne

    Sharynne has always worked in the customer service field because of her love of people. She has provided care for children in her home and has also worked in daycare and learning center settings. When she is not busy with her children in the Toddler classroom she is busy at home with her husband and four boys. Sharynne was born in British Columbia, Canada and lived in Ontario and B.C. with four siblings. She loves to go to sporting events, especially to watch her husband coach hockey. As a teacher Sharynne is eager and thankful to go on this wonderful journey with you and your child.

  • Taylor

    Taylor was born and raised in Snohomish County and first realized his interest in working with children during his senior year of high school. After attending Edmonds Community College and earning an AA, he transferred to Western Washington University in Bellingham to study elementary education. While there he began working in childcare and absolutely loved it, deciding to further pursue it upon moving home. In his free time Taylor enjoys writing stories, playing sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

  • Tiffany

    Tiffany began working with children as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental practice before transitioning to working in early childhood education in 2019. Before transitioning to The Goddard School, Tiffany worked as a Lead Teacher in a Pre-K program. Tiffany is working towards her Early Childhood Education Certificate through Everett Community College. Tiffany loves to read and is working towards writing her own novel! She enjoys video games, singing, dancing and spending time with her pets and her family. Tiffany was a foster parent before moving to Snohomish and hopes to return to doing that again someday.
